Religious instruction
Religious instruction (RI) is offered at our school and is conducted every Thursday.
- Year 1 & 2 (2.00pm-2.30pm) and;
- Year 3-6 (2.30pm-3.00pm)
While we offer RI at East Ayr State School, participation in RI is not compulsory.
The aims and goals of our Religious Instruction program are as follows:
Connect Program
- To help students understand the concept of God and morals of the Bible.
- To help the students have a relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
Anglican Program
- To encourage students in their Christian journey.
Catholic Program
- Strive to affirm and strengthen family life
- Acknowledge the many different situations of families today
- Encourage and models a commitment to faith
